Poem of Passion

Lazy Love

By: Baron Burgundy

I would move mountains for you,

if the mountains were part of a diorama

and not glued down too hard.

I would travel the globe for you,

If you covered the airfare,

And extra costs associated with flying private.

I would fight the strongest of men for you,

If they were fully tied up, unconscious,

And I had nunchucks.

I would bring you breakfast in bed every morning,

As long as you're fine only eating cereal

Straight out of the box.

I would buy you the perfect birthday gift,

If I had any idea what you liked,

Or when your birthday was.

I would write you a love song,

But I cannot rhyme,

So a poem's all you get.

Happy birthday. Maybe.
